Dawn Lyken-Segosebe is a Senior Lecturer and acting Head of the Department of Business, Management and Entrepreneurship at the Botswana International University of Science and Technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Leadership and Policy Studies and M.A. in Economics, both from Vanderbilt University, USA.

Dawn is on UNDP’s Roster of Global Policy Experts. She coordinates a training course on "Starting Your Business" for aspiring and practicing entrepreneurs. She has extensive teaching experiences in the Caribbean, Southern Africa, the Middle East, and the USA and teaches Developing a Strategic Business Plan, Organizational Design and Change, Organizational Leadership and Engineering Economics. Her research interests include academic entrepreneurship, the scholarly and teaching role performance of college and university faculty, technology business incubation, and colleges and universities as organizations.
