Noppakao Sucharitakul
Noppakao Sucharitakul is Executive Vice President at The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), Head of Social Development Group and Corporate Communications.
With more than two decades of experience in the capital market gained from working at SET and at the Office of The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Noppakao is competent in marketing and capital market education. She has successfully steered SET’s domestic investor base expansion for more than ten years. In enhancing social development, she has been instrumental in crafting strategies to make the capital market truly benefit the society in a sustainable manner, especially by strengthening social enterprises. This is another key function that underscores SET’s role not only as a fundraising hub, but also as a focal point to build a better society. She has integrated her expertise in social development combined with branding and corporate communication skills to grow the ecosystem for social enterprises through various initiatives, particularly SET’s digital platform successfully debuted last year named “SET Social Impact”, via collaboration among listed firms, social sector and social enterprises to create positive social outcome with synergy.
In addition, she is also active in leading the strategic development of the “SET Foundation” to enhance well-being among people in communities and the society as a whole, along with the endeavor to encourage and honor philanthropic actions of individuals and organizations so as to create role models for the society.
Prior to joining SET, Noppakao was well-versed in capital market education, as well as research and development gained from her work at the SEC. She has received her master’s degree in Political Science (International Relations) and bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts (English language) from Thammasat University.
