He has over 25 years’ work and consulting experience backed by a strong track record of success in private equity and venture capital advisory and fund management in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zambia.

Cuthbert is a Chairman and member of Investment Committees of various investment funds in Southern Africa. He obtained expert knowledge in agriculture and food processing value chains, retail and franchising, financial services, education, gemstone and quarry mining, transportation and logistics, medical, packaging, and telecommunications industries. In addition, he has extensive experiences operating in international settings, having worked in England, South Africa, United States, Zambia and Botswana. Proven leader equipped with advanced business acumen as well as excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, he has been an entrepreneur for over 15 years and assisted other in scaling up financially and providing business services to enterprises from retail operation to a multi—location enterprises across the country. He holds non-executive director positions in numerous companies across Southern and East Africa over the last 20 years in the meanwhile built a well-connected private and public sector network in Zambia and Southern Africa in general.
