Andrew Gamble
Andrew Gamble is the London Regional Managing Partner in the international law firm, Hogan Lovells. Throughout his career, Andrew has worked within the banking and corporate finance area. Over the past 25 years, he has been heavily involved in international finance, acting both for borrowers and bank syndicates. This work has entailed advising banks and structuring financings for the benefit of entities in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and CIS. Andrew has also led the teams acting for the Governments of Sierra Leone, Guyana, Mozambique and Ethiopia in the implementation of their World Bank / International Development Association sponsored debt reduction programmes. He has advised the Government of Nigeria on its Paris Club and London Club Debt. He was retained by the Government and Central Bank of Ghana to devise, and successfully implement, the issue of inflation index-linked government bonds. Andrew has worked with multilateral agencies such as the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, the African Export-Import Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
