Kango Microfinance Ltd is an agrifinance company that supports rural women and youth in agriculture and small businesses with the purpose of creating jobs, increasing the income levels of farmers, increasing food security in the community and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
Kango offers financial and market information, trainings and technical support to rural women who want to launch into agricultural activities or improve those. Financial inclusion systems enables them to conduct their savings and borrow digitally as compared to before when saving money in metallic boxes that were kept im their houses was the norm, which was more risky. Kango builds up a network of farmers, where the connection of members can help spread farming method knowledge.
