Nuttaphong Jaruwannaphong
Nuttaphong is a Director at the Thai Social Enterprise Office (TSEO). Trained as an architect and planner by profession. After graduation Trained as an architect and planner by profession. After graduation from Norway on Urban Ecological Planning, he has been working as the so-called ‘Social Architect’ since then on various roles both in public and private sector. Before joining the Thai Social Enterprise Office as the director in 2012, he has spent 3 years as a Project Lead of the collaboration project between Thailand and Denmark on urban environment and the remaining 4 years working as a Director of the Community Division and strategic advisor for the Thai Health Promotion Foundation—the government agency to promote health and wellbeing. During the short interval period between government works, he also worked as a General Manager for the real estate company aiming to be the first social enterprise of Thailand on housing & city development. He was also an initiator of many national initiatives and strategic institutions such as The National Progress Index, The Urban Design and Development Centre (UDDC), The Social Innovation Foundation, The Future Innovative Thailand Institute (FIT) etc.
