GGKP Webinar on sustainable materials

On 29 September 2020, SEED’s Executive Director Lewis Akenji joined a panel of experts from the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials (IFAM), SEED, Footprints Africa, Laudes Foundation, United Nations Environment Programme and the VDI Centre for Resource Efficiency to talk innovations in sustainable materials across sectors. In this webinar, hosted by GGKP, a platform for green practitioners, multiple SEED supported enterprises were showcased. Outlining models and innovation, topics discussed included examples of new materials and resource efficiency, how digital technologies can help SMEs become resource efficient with minimal investment and how research-industry collaboration and cross-border information sharing can advance the development of sustainable materials.
