On 28 October 2020, SEED’s Executive Director Lewis Akenji moderated a webinar joined by a panel of experts from CEU, ISPONRE, MONRE, Switch-Asia, and Fang Thai, a SEED enterprise in Thailand creating alternatives to plastic packaging, to talk about the role of businesses in tackling single-use plastics and general trends and challenges across Asia and Europe. Topics discussed included the rise of single-use plastics due to COVID-19, challenges and approaches to combat this consumption, and case studies from Asia and Europe.
